Al Jazeera is a News TV station launched on 1 November 1996 based in Doha Qatar. The TV station mostly got its worldwide popularity for being the only TV channel to cover the war in Afghanistan in live from the office. Also, except news there are some documentaries that they are broadcasting, and they have their own documentaries made.
